Hartford Dry Ash Handling & Loading Facility - Hartford, CT
Methuen Construction was the general contractor for the construction of an automated dry ash conveyance, storage and truck loading facility that replaces an existing manually controlled three incinerator wet sludge system. The automated truck loading system recognizes when a disposal truck arrives at the loading doors, automatically opens the garage entry door, alerts truck drivers to pull forward by visual displays, loads the trucks, and then notifies the driver that the truck is full by opening the garage exit door and alerting them to drive out of the facility.
