Avalon Bay Communities, one of the country’s largest apartment community developers, contracted the Industrial Services Group to completely upgrade a wastewater pumping station at the Avalon Blue Hills Community. The work consisted of installing three new submersible non-clog pumps in the existing wastewater pumping station and associated electrical work, controls and appurtenances.  Additionally, two precast concrete sewer manholes with channel grinder and related appurtenances were installed along with ductile iron force main piping.  Much of this work was done during a cold, snowy New England Winter.
