Nashua Storm Flow Improvements - Nashua, NH
The project required a fifty-five foot deep excavation for the new influent pump station. Careful planning was required to safely move heavy equipment and personnel in and out of this deep steel sheeted cofferdam supported by structural steel walers, pipe bracing and tiebacks. The project provided improved use of the city’s existing sewer and wastewater treatment facility, while better managing storm water flows at the treatment plant to reduce the risk of Combined Sewer Overflows. The project included the construction of a 16 Million Gallon per Day treatment facility.
