Franklin Plant Energy Efficient Upgrades - Franklin, NH
Methuen Construction was responsible for energy efficient upgrades at the Franklin, NH wastewater treatment facility. The company installed three positive displacement-style blowers and four T\turbo blowers, including the modification of all associated piping and valves. Additionally, existing ductile iron pipe was replaced with stainless steel pipe.
During the mechanical upgrade, the 30-plus year old roof was completely replaced, including all asbestos abatement. The roof then received a vegetated covering to allow for added energy conservation while reducing rain water run off to the surrounding area.
