The client provided Methuen Construction with a performance specification that outlined their requirements and desired system components. The system was required to remove more than 90% of incoming metals while operating at a rate of 70 tons per hour, 10 hours per day, 6 days per week. The client further specified that the non-ferrous system be designed as a batch system and that it be configured to fit within their existing ash building.
