Lawrence Cofferdam Repair & Replacement - Lawrence, MA
Methuen Construction not only created 12 large trashracks to replace old damaged ones at the Enel Green Power hydroelectric dam, but had the capabilities to install them in a 70 foot deep cofferdam. The new trashracks were fabricated at the fabrication shop, and then carefully reinstalled in the renovated cofferdam. Additionally, the existing sidewall concrete of the cofferdam was modified, which was necessary for the completion of the project. Since the work was performed in a narrow 70 foot deep cofferdam, additional OSHA safety measures were implemented.
