Description

1.5 MGD Water Treatment Facility utilizing Membrane Ultra Filtration to remove iron and manganese from the drinking water supply. Work included construction of a new Masonry building above concrete holding tanks, replacement of existing well pumps, Ozone Generation, Compressed Air, Membrane Filtration, Chemical Feed, and SCADA systems. The scope of work also included upgrades to the existing Waterworks building, a Backwash Filter Structure, new Septic System and various MEP elements. Methuen Construction was able to successfully complete the project ontime and well under the Town of Wayland’s budget, without impacting the environmentally protected Baldwin Pond ecosystem or Wayland Waterworks operations.
