Lowell Security System Upgrades - Lowell, MA
Methuen Construction assisted the Lowell Regional Water Treatment Utility in implementing security system upgrades at several water treatment facilities in the Greater Lowell area. Methuen Construction fabricated and installed metal security screens to meet a Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection mandate for water security and safety. In addition, new chemical pumps were installed and a separate booster pump station was built to improve efficiency and performance. Finally, the project required the dredging of two existing lagoons and installation of secure fencing around them.
